About Gringo Coin

Connecting the World to Brazil

We are building the definitive bridge between global funds and the Brazilian Pix ecosystem.

Our Mission

At Gringo Coin, we believe that borders should not dictate the flow of value. In an increasingly globalised economy, the friction of moving money across regions—specifically into Brazil's incredible Pix network—remains unacceptably high.

Our platform is designed from the ground up to offer transparency, speed, and regulatory compliance. Whether you're a traveller paying for a meal in SĂŁo Paulo or a business settling invoices in Rio, Gringo Coin ensures your global funds reach their destination locally, in seconds.

Our Team

Paul Archer

Paul Archer

Co-Founder & Creative Director

Paul Archer is the co-founder of GringoCoin, a payments platform designed to make it easier for international visitors and businesses to bring money into Brazil and spend it seamlessly using PIX.

Originally from the UK, Paul first visited Brazil in 2006 and moved permanently in 2013. Today his children are Brazilian, and the country is home.

Before entering fintech, Paul built a career in the fashion and advertising industry. A graduate of the London College of Fashion, he began his career working with Mario Testino before founding Closer Post and Lƫmināre, studios delivering high-end post-production for international photographers, agencies, and luxury brands.

GringoCoin was born at the intersection of these experiences: international business and life in Brazil, with a simple goal — making it easier for the world to connect with and experience the country he now calls home, and to share his love for Brazil with others.
